What is the AACVPR?

Founded in 1985, the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) represents 3,000 healthcare professionals worldwide engaged in education, prevention, rehabilitation, research, and disease management activities in cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation and prevention programs. The Association provides professional development and educational opportunities for its members to uphold its central goal of improving the quality of life for patients and families.

AACVPR Mission Statement:

To reduce morbidity, mortality, and disability from cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases through education, prevention, rehabilitation, research, and disease management.
